Second Flush Assam Tea is valued very highly across the globe – second flush tea from this region is luxurious, coppery bright hued with a deep malty taste. Both Assam CTC Teas and Orthodox grades from the summer harvest are treasured, especially golden tippy orthodox teas. Darjeeling Second Flush Tea is very different from Darjeeling First Flush and in some circles is graded even higher. Some of the best clonals and oolongs are made during this time.
