ABOUT THE GARDEN
Turzum Tea Estate, established in the early 1900s, is nestled in the picturesque Mirik Valley of Darjeeling, sharing its legacy with the adjacent Sungma Estate. Located at altitudes between 1,100 and 1,600 metres, Turzum’s AV2 clonal bushes are hand-tended with meticulous care. Specialising in high-end second flush and moonlight teas, Turzum’s offerings are known for their smooth clonal character, elegant floral notes, and unparalleled clarity in the cup. BREWING INTRUCTIONS
Use filtered or bottled water. Heat the water up to 95°C. Put in 2.5 g of loose tea for every cup (180 ml). Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Strain into a cup and serve.
Leaf: Dark with a terracotta tint, hand-rolled.
Liquor: Vegetal at first, followed by mild woody bitterness.
Infusion: Light, mellow cup with vegetal and woody notes.
