Planted in 1852 this is the first tea estate in the history of Darjeeling Tea Plantation. His garden is planted with Darjeeling Clonal, Chinary bushes and Clonal tea stock especially developed to meet the agro climatic conditions of the area. The garden produces Orthodox black, green and specially Darjeeling Tea. The mountain breeze kissed by the great Kanchenjunga makes the teas produced by this garden UNIQUE. Darjeeling First Flush teas are the produce from the first harvest of the year, immediately after the spring rains, between end February and mid-April. Darjeeling First Flush is also known as Spring Teas. This is so because the tea harvested during this period is light in appearance with a brisk flavor. It has has a light yellow cup colour, with delicate flowery flavour and aroma.
