Dating back to 1917, Liza Hill Tea Estate is one of Darjeeling’s hidden gems, perched at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 metres. Part of the renowned Risheehat Estate, Liza Hill's high altitude and temperate climate contribute to its rare first flush teas. Known for their delicately floral and bright notes, Liza Hill’s teas reflect the pure essence of Darjeeling, offering a nuanced muscatel flavour in the later flushes. BREWING INTRUCTIONS
Use filtered or bottled water. Heat the water up to 95°C. Put in 2.5 g of loose tea for every cup (180 ml). Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Strain into a cup and serve.Leaf: Dark purplish with brown and a combination of silver and gold tips with open leaves.
Liquor: Honeyed, toasted, with hazelnut shell and almond oil notes.
Infusion: Rich and smooth, with roasted nutty flavours and slight sweetness.
