Dating back to 1917, Liza Hill Tea Estate is one of Darjeeling’s hidden gems, perched at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 metres. Part of the renowned Risheehat Estate, Liza Hill's high altitude and temperate climate contribute to its rare first flush teas. Known for their delicately floral and bright notes, Liza Hill’s teas reflect the pure essence of Darjeeling, offering a nuanced muscatel flavour in the later flushes. BREWING INTRUCTIONS
Use filtered or bottled water. Heat the water up to 95°C. Put in 2.5 g of loose tea for every cup (180 ml). Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Strain into a cup and serve.Leaf: Sage green with dry marigold petal-like appearance for slow pan-roasting and hand-rolling.
Liquor: Mellow, nutty, with subtle nori sheet and umami notes.
Infusion: Floral touch with oceanic notes, sweet grassy, and green tomatoes with boiled French beans.
