ABOUT THE GARDEN

The Mangalam Tea Estate is distinctive in growing an exceptional bush plantation. The tea garden spans across an area of 117.99 hectare. Here the plantation is done with a specific spacing of the unit 18” x 18” x 18” x 18 that has a plucking patch of 2’6”. This tea garden is well planned and offers a convenient working ambience. Mangalam is known for its high quality CTC and Assam Orthodox tea. The quality is premium and hence the price is a bit high.

BREWING INTRUCTIONS

(1) Begin with a filtered or bottled water. (2) Heat water to a boil. Then put in 2.5 to 3 gms of tea for every cup of water. (3) Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes (4) Pour into a cup through a strainer.
