Location : Eastern Dooars.

Year of Acquisition : 1994.

Features : This garden is situated between Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary and Leopard Rehabilitation Centre, Kherbari. The garden is 15 km. in the south of Totapara the home of about 1500 hundred TOTO the indigenous tribal community. The nearest railway station is Madarihat, which is very famous for its wood furniture and wood craft. the nearest airport terminal is Bagdogra, situated approx. 155 km. away.

Area under cultivation of tea : 222 Ha.

Area under irrigation : 222 Ha

Gross yield : 525 Tons per year.

Production Capacity : Nill.

Welfare Activities : Free medical facilities are provided to workers and their dependent. Protective clothing and equipments as per work and climate conditions are also provided.

Certificates Awarded  : Certificate of excellence awarded by M/s J. Thomas & Company Private Limited for highest CTC tea sold in Siliguri auction in the year 2007, 2008 and 2009-10. 

Special features : Coexistence of wild life and agriculture based industries. Though the garden is very interior yet easily approachable.

Short Story of this garden

The  Garden  got  its  name  after  the  youngest  scion  of  BIRLA  family,  the great  grandson  of Syt. B. K. Birla, whose name is "ARYAMAN".

The Company developed this tea estate on the land which was not suitable for agricultural crop and depredations by wild life viz. elephant, bison, deer and other species. All latest hybrid seeds and clone plants were used for tea planting.

The factory was commissioned in the year 1999 with state of art technology installing latest plant and machineries to manufacture and produce top quality Dooars CTC teas in a perfect hygienic and eco-friendly atmosphere. The local population got gainful employment leading to better living standards. The garden has provided permanent employment to 800 skilled and unskilled workers also generates direct and indirect employment to many more during cropping season.
